Winter Wonderland Book Tag

So I'm pretty sure this is a tag that was going around last winter, but after looking around for a little while for a wintery book tag, this is my favorite one that I have found so far. It was created by JackEatsBooks over on youtube so go check him out his channel is great. I am fairly excited for winter to be in full swing, will all honesty I just love the excuse of the cold days and long nights as a reason to stay all cozy inside with a book.

1. What book is so happy and sweet that it warms your heart?

This one was actually quite tricky for me as I tend to read more dark, twisted romance as opposed to the fluffy heartfelt kind. I have to admit, when I'm in the mood for some easy-going cute-ness I tend to end up reading fanfiction (I know, I know, but some of it is actually pretty good) but I am in the process of trying to change that, I have picked up a few fluffy romances recently so I'm doing good. I have to say the books I actually thought relating to this question was Just One Day by Gayle Forman. Even though its not exactly all candied hearts and butterflies, but the whole romantic adventure explored in this book makes it so touching.

 2. What is your favorite book with a white cover?

Ohh this was an easy one. Bridget Jones Diary by Helen Fielding. I adore this book.

3. You're sitting in a nice comfy chair, wearing a onesie, with a lovely warm hot chocolate but what MONSTER read are you reading?

I don't know if this is technically a monster book, but it would have to be Throne Of Glass by Sarah J Mass. There is nothing better than a fantasy book to read while snuggled up with a cozy drink when its cold outside.

4. It has started snowing so you decide to have a snowball fight.  Which fictional character would you chose to have a snowball fight with?

Lets be honest, I'd have to pick the twins from Harry Potter wouldn't I? How much fun would that be? Magical snowball fights? Yes please.

5. Sadly your fire is starting to go out. Which book would you tear the last few chapters out of to throw into the fire?

Well, anybody that knows me is aware that books are basically my children and hurting one is just a no-go area, but this is a hypothetical situation and I'm going to take it as being pretending that the last few chapters don't exist. In that case I would have to choose Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. The ending just didn't do it for me.

6. What book is so close to your heart that you would gift it to someone this Christmas who hasn't read before but wants to get into reading.

Again, this was an easy one. It would have to be Beautiful Disaster by Jaime McGuire. I adore this book and may have actually bought it for a friend for Christmas...

Let me know what books you would choose for these questions!
